Having the opportunity to care for children is a precious gift from God. As members of the body of Christ (see 1 Corinthians 12:12-31), children have a significant role in the life and health of the church. At Crossroads, we are committed to promoting the thriving, growth, health, and all-around well-being of our little ones and consider it a special joy to be entrusted with teaching them about God and his Word. We are also committed to supporting and caring for parents. One exciting new way in which this occurs is through the middle and high school youth, who recently implemented a semi-annual Parents’ Night Out, at which they offer free childcare and an evening full of fun for the kids.
Crossroads’ Children’s Ministry includes the following:
Nursery
Our Nursery is available during the Worship Service. You may drop off infants and young children up to 3 years of age, before the service, starting at 9:20a.m. All of our volunteer caregivers have undergone a background check and there is always a Primary and Assistant Caregiver on duty.
Christian Education Classes will resume in the Fall.
- Preschool (Ages 2–4): Preschoolers learn that God keeps his promises.
- Younger Elementary (Grades K–3): Children encounter Jesus through his powerful signs and wonders.
- Older Elementary (Grades 4–6): Pre-teens see the Bible as one story – God’s story of salvation through Christ.
