Counseling Ministry

Care and Counseling

At Crossroads, we seek to develop a culture of caring, helpful and wise relationships. Weekly care groups provide informal times of prayer, time in the word, helping one another, and fellowship. We have a small resource table and library with counseling resources and mini-books, to help our
congregation as they grow in Christ and seek to encourage others.

For situations requiring additional counsel, we partner with Heart Song Counseling, LLC. The model of care at Crossroads, known as biblical counseling, is closely aligned with the Christian Counseling and Education Foundation (CCEF). Counselors at Heart Song are required to have a 60-credit hour MA in
biblical counseling. For more information about counseling at Crossroads, please talk to Pastor Young, Mrs. Linda Neice, or your shepherding elder.

Linda Neice

Counselor

Linda Neice has lived in Montclair Virginia for over ten years with her husband Jim. Together they have four children and two granddaughters and a lively Black Lab named Winston. As part of her husband’s Air Force career Linda has lived in many different locations, including in England and Germany. She understands that there are times in life when we face an unexpected heartache, a difficult season, or a problem that evades easy solutions. Her passion is to walk alongside others, to listen to their particular experience of the brokenness of this world and to know that Jesus meets us in unexpected ways during suffering.

Since returning to the states Linda earned three levels of certification from Christian Counseling and Education Foundation (CCEF) and her Masters of Arts in Counseling from Westminster Theological Seminary in Glenside, Pennsylvania. She enjoys music, biking and hiking in beautiful Virginia, and skiing in Utah with her granddaughters and family.
