Christian Education Classes – Fall 2019

Sundays from 11:15 – 12:15

September 8 through November 24

Nursery (Through age 2): Children in the nursery will learn who Jesus is, that he is alive, and how to trust God. Taught by MJ Stodghill and friends.

Preschool (Age 3–Kindergarten): Beginning Kids’ Quest Catechism Club. Using accounts from the Bible of God’s work in the world to help the children memorize answers to the questions of the First Catechism. Taught by Sam Kolli and friends.

Younger Elementary (Grades 1–4): Kids’ Quest Catechism Club. Using accounts from the Bible of God’s work in the world to help the children memorize answers to the questions of the First Catechism. Taught by Mike Santivasci and friends.

Older Elementary (Grades 5–8): What’s Up: help preteens and young teens understand why the gospel really is good news. Taught by Dawn Assadourian.

Youth Group (Grades 9-12): Worshipping God: This study will help your students become thoughtful, active participants in the worshiping community. Taught by Josh Kiihne and Matthew Root.

Friendship Class (Special Needs Education)

God, our Father (Old Testament): Seven units that tell the story of God’s creation, God’s covenant relationship with his people, and God’s promise to send a Savior. Taught by Peggy Van Lowe and one adult/teen mentor for each student.

 Adult Education

How People Change: This course helps people to understand the underlying motivations for their actions and gives them specific, practical help in changing long-standing patterns of behavior, so they grow in love for God and others. Taught by Jim & Linda Neice

 Exploring Crossroads: A review of the basics of the Christian faith and an introduction to Crossroads. Taught by Pastor Sampson.
