Saturday morning, February 8th, we come together for our next event…

Who? The Men of Crossroads.

What? Breakfast and fellowship. Dads are encouraged to bring their sons. Please feel free to come and go as you are able.

Where? In the Fellowship Area of the Dumfries Boys and Girls Club.

When? Saturday, February 8th from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m.

If you are planning to attend, please RSVP to Brian Clites at b.clites@yahoo.com. Just show up if you find you can go at the last minute. Help is needed with cooking, set-up, and clean-up.

Men’s Cracker Barrel – Saturday, November 9th

Greetings Brothers in Christ,

Greg Mourad has again kindly agreed to host at his home this Saturday, November 9th. The plan is to have the fire going and to begin around 6:00pm, but please feel free to come and go as you can that evening to enjoy a time of fellowship with our brothers in Christ. We know it is also the same evening as the youth ministries sponsored adult night out, so we understand if you already have plans with your spouses or family.  Above all, I hope you each are doing well and having a great week.

If there is anyone you can think of that I missed in this email, please feel free to pass this along as well.  If you get a chance please take a moment to RSVP if you can (you are always welcome even if you are unable to RSVP) to myself, or Greg at Greg@Mourads.com.  We meet the second Saturday of each month, so be sure to mark your calendars!    Once again I hope you all are well and look forward to seeing you soon.

Come and enjoy an evening by the fire, relax, roast a marshmallow and encourage one another as we take up the cross in our daily lives. Let’s gather together and build each other up to serve in ourcommunities and homes.

I’ll be hosting a Cracker Barrel by fireside for any fellow brother that hasthe evening free or even just a few minutes to stop by and warm themselves bythe fire. Please,feel free to bring your sons or a friend.

Snacks will be provided:
-Homemade kettle corn
-S’mores
-Peanuts
-A special Dutch oven treat?

Please bring:
-A folding camp chair (if you have one)
-A marshmallow/roasting stick
-Cold weather clothing, it may be cold!!!

Do you have a favorite campfire snack or story to tell? Bring it along!

This Saturday, 20 Feb 0900-1100, Ravi Zacharias, well known apologist, will speak at Little Hall Theater on Quantico Marine Corps Base.  Registration starts at 0800 and we will meet at 0700 at the McDonald’s on Base for a time of breakfast and fellowship prior to heading over to Little Hall.  The talk is free, but please bring money for breakfast.   Please call 703-432-6082 (MCBQ Chapel Annex) to register as seating is limited.  Also, please contact Josh Kiihne (jkiihne@hotmail.com, 540.318.5561) to RSVP for breakfast and help arrange carpools.  Click links for info, maps, and directions.

Men,

I recently saw a license plate on a car owned by what must be a great American: CH46PLT. As a former CH-46 helicopter pilot, I am sure that the owner of this car must be a pretty good guy. I saw a license plate yesterday on a car that must be owned by a fighter pilot: CHKMY6. This fellow aviator reminded me of a sermon I heard recently about the 3 R’s of functioning as the Body of Christ. 1 Corinthians 12:26 says, “If one part suffers, every part suffers with it; if one part is honored, every part rejoices with it.”
