Crossroads’ Fellowship Meal!
Sunday, April 29th Immediately following the Worship Service

Join us for a Sandwich and Salad lunch
Beverages, bread/buns, condiments and paper
products provided

Please bring a salad (pasta, garden, potato, fruit, waldorf, broccoli, Greek, … be creative!!) and a dessert to share! Those bringing the meat trays are exempt!

Our lunch will begin shortly after the service and we must be cleaned up by 1pm.

Crossroads Trivia Night Fundraiser – Saturday, April 28th

Greetings, Crossroads Family!

This weekend is the last Sunday before our Trivia Night Fundraiser and Fellowship Event! The sign-up table will be available from 9:15 Sunday morning until just after Sunday School. So please be sure to stop by and sign up to attend.

Please also be thinking of who else you could invite to join you – whether they’re friends from Crossroads or elsewhere!

The minimum requested donation is $10/person, but there is a discounted rate of $35 for families of 4+. There will also be a County Fair at which you can bid on delicious homemade goodies and Americana crafts. Plan with your table mates how you want to dress up and which food items you want to enjoy throughout the evening! The theme of the evening is American History, so read up on your American sports, geography, military, and arts & entertainment facts!

We also have the opportunity to enjoy a local band during some of our breaks between trivia rounds – so come prepared to sit back, relax, and enjoy a fun night of fellowship together!

Crossroads – A New Location

On Sunday, March 18th we started Worshiping at the Dumfries Boys and Girls Club, 17565 Old Stage Coach Rd, Dumfries, VA 22026

Our Worship Service starts at 9:30a.m. with Christian Education Classses for all at 11:00a.m.

Worship Service on December 25th and January 1st – Change of Location

On Sunday, December 25th and Sunday, January 1st our Worship Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. at the Grace Baptist Church facility in Woodbridge at 14242 Spriggs Road.

On December 25th we will celebrate the Lord’s Supper; we will also celebrate the baptism of Levi Bartholomew and Byron Wiggin during the Worship Service.

Crossroads Christmas Celebration – Sunday, December 18

Celebrate the Christmas Season together, bringing gifts of worship to Jesus.

Enjoy the reading of the Christmas story from the Scriptures, the presentation of instrumental and vocal music offerings, and the singing of carols.

On Sunday, December 18th at 7:00p.m. at Swans Creek Elementary School, 17700 Wayside Dr. Dumfries, VA 22026

Light refreshments will be provided afterward courtesy of Crossroads’ fellowship committee and Youth Group girls.

Congregational Meeting held on Sunday, December 11, 2011

Our Annual meeting of the congregation was held on Sunday, December 11.

The 2012 budget was presented along with an update on the Natural Church Development process.

We also voted on a recommendation from the Session to grant Pastor Sampson a sabbatical from January through March of 2012.
Only communicant members were asked to vote, but everyone was welcome to attend the meeting.

Crossroads Pie and Praise Event – Sunday, November 20

Come and join us for our Annual Pie and Praise Event on Sunday, November 20 at 6:00p.m.
It will be held at the Dumfries Boys and Girls Club, 17565 Old Stage Coach Rd. Dumfries, VA 22026.

Youth Group Trip to Belvedere Plantation – Saturday, October 8

The Crossroads youth group (grades 7-12) will be heading to Belvedere Plantation. Enjoy a hot dog roast, corn maze, hay ride, fun and fellowship. Please invite friends to this outreach event. The cost is $13 per person. Look for a flyer with more details.

New Schedule Starts and Fellowship Lunch – Sunday, September 11

Starting this Sunday we will begin our Worship service at 9:30a.m. with Sunday School classes starting at 11:00a.m.

Please also plan to join us this Sunday for a fellowship lunch as we kick-off our new schedule and say goodbye to the Dobbels. This will be their last Sunday at Crossroads before moving to Texas. Please plan to stay after church and Sunday School and express our appreciation to Joe and Adrian for their faithful service.
