A Congregational Meeting was held on Sunday, July 10th immediately following the Worship service. We presented the Natural Church Development (NCD) Questionnaire results. All were welcome to attend.

We have Moved to Swans Creek Elementary School

We have moved to Swans Creek Elementary School, 17700 Wayside Drive, Dumfries VA 22026. Worship Service will continue to be at 10:45a.m. We will also have refreshments starting at 10:15a.m.

We would like to thank all of those people involved in the move for all of their help and support during this process. It was light work due to many hands.

We look forward to seeing the same familiar faces, and welcoming new people to our congregation. Let us pray for our local community and for God to bless Crossroads and continue to make it grow for God’s glory.

Youth Event – Outreach to Local Community

Our Youth Group took to the streets, despite the heat and the thunderstorms, to deliver over 500 door hangers to the local community surrounding Swans Creek Elementary School. We are hoping to spread the good news, that Crossroads is now meeting in their community and we hope to extend a warm welcome for people to join us.

We have over 2500 door hangers to deliver to complete our Outreach Ministry, so if you would like to help please contact cindyriggle@crossroadspca.net

Missions Dessert Evening – Friday, June 10

The Crossroads Church Family is invited to a  Missions Dessert to meet Richard and Oksana Mayer, missionaries to rural Ukraine (Oksana is the sister of Tatiana who lived with the Rollers for six months) on Friday, June 10th at 7:00 p.m. at the home of George and Linda Roller 7424 Norwalk Court, Manassas, VA 20112.

Crossroads Picnic

Thank you all for joining us at the Crossroads Picnic last week at Leesylvania State Park.  It was a  wonderful afternoon of fun and fellowship on the Potomac.  Congratulations to high school graduates Meredith Bartholomew,  Jolee Davis, Rose Dunn, Amanda Haney, and Paul Ritschard.   Many thanks to Kevin and Rachael McMullen, Dave and Andrea Williams, Dave and Abby Fratello and Van VanLowe for your loving service to all of us.

Crossroads – A New Location

Our facility search is over and we will be moving to Swans Creek Elementary School, in Dumfries on June 19. We would like to thank all of those people on our Facility Search Committee for their hard work and dedication to the difficult task of finding a place to Worship that meets all of our needs.

More details about the move will be following in the coming weeks.

Women’s Conference Offers “Togetherness”

We have the most wonderful opportunity coming up this fall as the PCA Women are again hosting an international conference.  This opportunity only comes along about every 5 years and you really do not want to miss it. Plan on joining a group of Ladies from Crossroads and from all across the country as we travel to Atlanta Oct 7-9 for an amazing conference rich in bible teaching and praise.  If you register by May 31st there is a discount ($145.00 after it increases to $170.00) and the registration includes a banquet dinner Sat night.  There will be an additional hotel cost for 2 nights paid later.  Several of us plan on carpooling so that will reduce the travel expense.  Please look at the website  www.amazinggrace360.com
